You’re comparing daily care with support for a specific need.

Microbiome Care is our daily foundation; the four newer supplements have distinct focuses.

One daily foundation and four supplements made for four everyday moments.

Here is why we made them, and how to choose.

Quick answer

We started with one daily foundation, Advanced K9 Microbiome Care.

Then we made four more supplements for the moments dog parents ask about most:

  • An unsettled tummy
  • Stressful days
  • Seasonal skin and coat
  • Keeping weight steady

Each is a 2 g sachet you stir into your dog's food.

The label shows what is inside.

  • Microbiome Care is the daily foundation. Four supplements sit beside it, one for each moment.
  • Each label shows what is in the sachet, so you and your vet can read it.
  • Every lot of the four new supplements is lab-tested.

Where we started: one daily foundation

Microbiome Care came first.

It is the sachet for every day, and it is made in the USA.

  • An oral-health postbiotic
  • Fish oil, colostrum, and inulin
  • L-glutamine and licorice root
  • Zinc, selenium, and vitamin E

It has no live cultures.

For many dogs, a steady daily foundation is the place to start. To go deeper:

What dog parents keep asking

These are the questions readers bring to our site most often:

  • How can I support my dog's healthy stool consistency?
  • What helps a dog stay settled in a storm?
  • What can I give a dog who keeps scratching?
  • How do I help my dog reach a healthy weight?

A single supplement can't answer all four well.

So we kept the foundation and built a targeted supplement for each moment.

Every supplement uses the same daily habit, and you stir the sachets into the food your dog already eats.

How we decided what goes in a sachet

  1. Start with the moment, not the ingredient list. Each supplement answers one everyday question.
  2. Put it on the label. We print what is inside so you and your vet can judge it.
  3. Keep one format. Every supplement is a sealed 2 g sachet that you tear, pour, and stir in. A little warm water turns it into a gravy. Our guide to giving a powder supplement has serving ideas.
  4. Scale by weight. The four newer supplements use one to four sachets a day by weight; Microbiome Care uses one to three. Start with half your dog's daily dose for 3 days, then the full dose for their weight.
  5. Say where evidence is thin. Many supplement ingredients have limited research in dogs. Our science page shows what exists, ingredient by ingredient.

How they are made and tested

  • The four new supplements are made in Canada, and every lot is lab-tested.
  • Every lot is tested, including for Salmonella and E. coli, and ships with a Certificate of Analysis.
  • The labels of Gut Restore, Calming Care, Itch & Immune Care, and Metabolic Care read Veterinarian Formulated.
  • Microbiome Care is made in the USA.

You can read exactly what we check on our quality and testing page.

What these supplements are not

  • They are not a substitute for veterinary care. They are daily supplements made to support everyday wellness as part of a routine.
  • They are not for emergencies. Vomiting, blood in stool, a swollen belly, collapse, or sudden changes need a vet now.
  • They are not a promise. Every dog is different, and we do not promise a result or a timeline.

How to choose

Foundation, targeted support, or both

Many owners start with one row below and adjust after the first month on a steady routine.

Foundation, targeted support, or both
Option How it works Best fit
Daily foundation alone Microbiome Care covers everyday gut and oral support Fits a dog with no single concern today
Foundation plus one targeted supplement Add Gut, Calming, Itch, or Metabolic Care for one goal Fits one clear everyday moment to support
One targeted supplement alone Focus the full routine on gut, calm, skin, or weight Fits a short list with one top priority

FAQ

What is the difference between Microbiome Care and the four new supplements?

Microbiome Care is the daily foundation, with an oral-health postbiotic, fish oil, colostrum, and more.

Gut Restore is for the tummy.

Calming Care is for stressful moments.

Itch & Immune Care is for seasonal skin and coat.

Metabolic Care is for healthy weight alongside portion control.

Can I give my dog more than one supplement?

Many pairs work well together, and the two-supplement bundles are 10% off.

Microbiome Care is the daily foundation, and Gut Restore can be added alongside it.

Gut Restore with Metabolic Care is not bundled.

Count the total sachets a day against your dog's weight, and ask your vet if your dog takes medication.

Why sachets instead of chews or a scoop?

Each sachet is a sealed single dose that you open once, on the day you use it, and stir into food.

A sachet also lets us scale the dose by weight, from one to four a day.

No head-to-head study compares powders with chews, so we do not claim one is better.

Some dogs like a chew as a treat.

Ours are for dogs who eat their dinner.

How are the new supplements tested?

Every lot of Gut Restore, Calming Care, Itch & Immune Care, and Metabolic Care is lab-tested and has a Certificate of Analysis.

Our quality and testing page explains what is checked.

Every lot of Microbiome Care is also lab-tested.

Are these supplements medicines?

No, they are daily supplements made to support everyday wellness as part of a routine.

Sudden or severe signs need a vet, not a supplement.
